Worth it

We are finally home after a l - o - n - g day. Sassy had a volleyball tournament in a town about an hour away. We had to be there at 7:30 am and just got home a half hour ago. That's twelve and a half hours door-to-door. It was totally worth it - Sassy's team took first place! They won every game (six total) - some were easier than others - and Sassy played well. Chunky tends to get the short end of the stick as he's had to attend several of these all day tournaments. There isn't anyone his age to play with so he ends up playing Nintendo, eating and napping all day. Since things were going so well today I took him to a local theater to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid (missing one game). I wasn't sure what to expect - Chunky loves the book series but movies for that age group can be hit-or-miss. The movie was worth it - totally cute. We saw How to Train Your Dragon a week ago and that was really, really good. Have you seen a movie lately?
