A year without summer is like a life without love

I love summer. It's not even my favorite season (fall has that distinction, especially Indian Summer), but living in the arctic tundra where it's frigid for at least 5 months out of the year gives one a tremendous appreciation for warmth, sunshine, greenery and the sounds of nature's many creatures.
